Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Type of Equipment: Generators

Specific Skills: Assist in locating and isolating system problems, Assist during routine systems testing, Monitor and visually inspect power plant equipment to detect problems, Make adjustments or minor repairs to equipment as required

Additional Skills: Complete and maintain station records, logs and reports

Security and Safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots
