Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable

Experience: 5 years or more

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Work Setting: General manufacturing

Type of Machine Experience: Conventional, Computer Numerical Control (CNC)

Machining Tools and Machines: CNC machines, Engine lathes, Milling machines

Measuring Tools: Micrometers, Callipers, Gauges

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables, Program computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools, Repair machine tools and parts, Set up and adjust production machinery, Verify dimensions of machined tools and parts using precision measuring instruments

Own Tools/Equipment: Tools, Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Standing for extended periods

Work Site Environment: Non-smoking

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle

Other Information:CNC Lathe Machinist with 10+ years experience. Has CNC Milling (VMC) with Fanuc and manual machining experience is an asset. Machining test required for interview. FAX resume with salary expectation.
