Salary: $25.00 to $32.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Brampton, Ontario (3 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Welder Trade Certification

Experience: 5 years or more

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Major Work Area: Maintenance/repair

Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Manufacturing, Industrial

Area of Specialization: Machinery or equipment repair, Factory assembly

Welding Techniques: Automated, Robotic

Type of Machine Experience: Spot welding machines, Arc welding machines

Welding Positions: Flat, Horizontal, Vertical, All positions

Materials: Steel, iron and heavy metals

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Interpret welding process specifications, Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, Determine weldability of materials, Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products, Start up, shut down, adjust and monitor robotic welding production line

Additional Skills: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination
