Salary: $12.48 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Other Benefits, As per collective agreement

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Scarborough, Ontario (12 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): St. John's Ambulance First-Aid Certificate, Canadian Red Cross First-Aid Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate, Emergency First Response Course, Driver's licence

Experience: Experience an asset

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Driver's Record: Driver's abstract

Work Setting: Hospital, Private ambulance company

Specific Skills: Transport patients to hospital or other medical facility for further medical care

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driver's validity licence check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving

Other Information:Provide transport monitoring and accompaniment of patients en route.Candidates must possess good health, physical strength and Certification as Emergency 1st Responder or higher EMCA EMT or RN.OT PAID
