Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Food and beverage server certification, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Languages: Read English, Write English

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Point-of-sale system

Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Work Setting: Restaurant, Hotel, Resort

Food and Beverage Serving Skills: Serve food and beverages, general plate service, Serve food and beverages, formal or French service, Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings, Describe menu items including daily specials for customers, Advise on menu selections

Wine and Stewarding/Serving Skills: Describe and advise on wine selection

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Public transportation is not available

Security and Safety: Bondable

Other Information:Duties: guest's orders, clean/set tables, station maintenance, presentation of guest's bill, process payment. Excellent customer service skills. Evening shift. includes weekends/holidays
