Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required

Experience: Experience an asset

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Work Setting: Meat plant

Supervisory Experience: Process control and machine operators, food and beverage processing, Industrial butchers and meat cutters, poultry preparers and related workers, Labourers in food, beverage and tobacco processing

Specific Skills: Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule activities of workers

Additional Skills: Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies, Prepare production and other reports, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) knowledge

Security and Safety: Criminal record check (abstract)

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
