Salary: $18.00 to $24.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week

Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Major Work Area: Fabrication, Fitting

Area of Specialization: Structural metal or steel

Welding Techniques: MIG

Specific Skills: Lay out reference points and patterns, Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures

Additional Skills: Read blueprints

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles

Essential Skills: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning

Other Information:Temp to potential hire for right candidate, strong mathematical skills an asset, must be open to O/T, steady day and afternoon shifts available, wage dependant on experience.
