Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Forklift license, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Not required
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Windows, General office equipment, Electronic Mail, Inventory control software
Typing (Words Per Minute): 0 - 40 wpm
Material Handling Equipment: Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts, Industrial forklifts, Pallet lifters
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Work Setting: Manufacturing company
Parts Specialization: Manufacturing equipment
Specific Skills: Receive, unpack and sort incoming parts, supplies and materials, Identify, label and catalogue items received, Store items in warehouse, tool room or supply area, Process incoming requisitions, Issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use, Ship, deliver or pick up parts, products or equipment, Answer customer inquiries
