Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Forklift Operator Certification

Experience: No experience

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Work Setting: Warehouse, Retail and wholesale distribution centre

Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Dollies and hand trucks, Strapping machines, Pallet lifters, Industrial lift trucks and forklifts

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment, Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products, Pick orders and stock, Wrap goods, Stack goods, Maintain and organize inventory

Additional Skills: Ship orders, Customer service skills

Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract)

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Bending, crouching, kneeling
