Salary: $11.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week

Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Type of Materials: Fibreglass

Type of Boats: Canoes

Specific Skills: Cut, shape and join timber pieces or assemble pre-cut timber pieces to make wooden boats, Assemble prefabricated parts and sections of fibreglass, metal or other materials to form boats, Install trims, rudders, seats, engine mounts and other accessories, Inspect assembled boats for defects and conformance to quality standards, Mark defects to be repaired, Make minor adjustments and repairs

Additional Skills: Record information on products inspected

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Standing for extended periods
