Salary: $20.00 to $30.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week

Skill Requirements:

Education: Not required

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): WHMIS Certificate, Rooftop Safety Training

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English

Major Work Area: Re-roofing, Repairs

Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience: Commercial, Residential

Area of Specialization: Shingled roofs, Modified roofing systems, Skylights

Types of shingles, tiles and pre-formed sheeting materials: Metal sheeting

Specific Skills: Install sheet metal flashings, Repair or replace roofing systems, Inspect re-roofing

Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, Instruct apprentices, Supervise other workers

Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding

Work Site Environment: At heights, Dusty

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence

Work Location Information: Various locations
