Education: Completion of high school

Experience: Experience an asset

Work Setting: Sheet metal shop, Structural steel fabrication company, Platework manufacturing company

Type of Machine or Equipment Set Up or Operation: Computer - numerical control equipment, Hand tools

Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Specific Skills: Read specifications or follow verbal instructions, Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products, Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications, Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail

Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle, Valid driver's licence
